To our valued patrons,

The Board of Directors of the New Castle Playhouse is excited to announce that we will be opening our doors once again. We will begin welcoming you back with our Rising Stars Theater Camp, a long-standing favorite with the youth of our community. This camp will be run, as it was last year, with all the necessary precautions being taken. We are looking forward to a fun-filled week of musical theatre instruction. The dates for this camp are July 19-24, 2021 and the details can be found in the section below. Be sure to click on the image of the flyer to reach our registration page.

Our first production of 2021, Fools, will take place October 1 – October 10. This Neil Simon comedy is being directed by Peggy Hanna. Originally slated for our Annex Stage, we have moved this play to our Main Stage. The health and safety of our cast, crew, and audience members is always a priority, and moving this play to the larger space of the Main Theater allows us to be more aware of social distancing protocols. Reservations will begin being taken for Fools soon.

We will close out our 2021 season with the holiday classic, Elf the Musical, directed by Amee Boughter. This heartwarming musical based on the hit movie will be presented December 10-December 19, 2021. Be sure to check our website and social media for information regarding auditions and ticket sales.

I want to assure you that all safety measures are being followed at the New Castle Playhouse. Masks, hand washing/sanitizing, social distancing, and regular cleaning and disinfecting of the facility has become our norm. We want to welcome you back to our theater in the safest possible manner.

Should you have any questions about any of our upcoming productions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our office is open from 10am – 4pm Monday through Friday.

Once again, I want to welcome you back to our theater. We have missed performing for you and are very happy to be stepping onto the stage to entertain you again.
