AUDITIONS FOR THE MUSICAL

AUDITION DATES:
Sunday, September 21 from 6-8 p.m.
Saturday, September 27 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sunday, September 28 from 3-5 p.m.

PLEASE PREPARE A SHORT MUSICAL SELECTION TO SING.  AN ACCOMPANIST WILL BE AVAILABLE OR YOU MAY BRING A CD (NO VOCAL TRACK PLEASE!).  YOU WILL ALSO BE ASKED TO READ A SECTION FROM THE SCRIPT FOR ONE OF THE SPEAKING CHARACTERS.

Seussical is a musical based on characters from the books of the beloved Dr. Seuss.  This family friendly production is about the power of imagination and belief in  yourself.  The Cat in the Hat acts as the emcee to steer us through the world of Horton the Elephant, the Whos of Whoville, Miss Gertrude McFuzz, Yertle the Turtle, and many others.  The Dr. Seuss themes of helping each other and peace throughout the world ring true throughout the show.

PRINCIPLE ROLES - 7 ADULT MEN, 7 ADULT WOMEN, 1 BOY
ADULT/YOUNG ADULT CHORUS ROLES
LIMITED NUMBER OF CHILD CHORUS ROLES

Friday & Saturday performances - 7:30 p.m.
Sunday matinees - 2:00 p.m.
